  1. You get your money's worth in the cascades !!! 326 per month hoa… They cut your grass and you also get cable TV. 24 hr… Gated security

  2. But, but you left out the most famous and largest active 55+ community in Florida , and the world THE VILLAGES!! T.V. has so much more to offer residents, than any other community…

  3. You should have said at the beginning of the video that you were only talking about a small area of Florida. We are looking at Central Florida and your options are nowhere near the places we are interested in. You can prevent people wasting their time by specifying the location in the beginning!

  4. WOW !!!! Port Orange , R U Kidding , Florida is Beautiful , but is NOT cheap , Safe city in Florida , Coral Gable , if U R whiling to spend millions

  5. I will keep the last two communities on my radar 🙂 !
Thank's for the info Lisa, I need 2 more years to be eligible.

  6. THis just isn't for me. We live in our first "HOA" community with it's community pool. All you hear is everybody else's problems at the pool. And you get cited for stupid things like your mailbox is faded. I think I'll need a regular house or an apartment. If people just weren't so rude, I"d go for one of these retirement communities.

  7. Most useless video on retirement villages I’ve ever seen. Just estate agent selling her “luxurious” homes to wealthy clients.

  8. I wish you would start with the annual cost to live at each community.
Since all of these communities require upkeep, maintenance cost, And just a monthly social security check minus medical bills will not be enough to live in any of these communities.
Many retires do not have other incomes.

Beautiful luxurious 4bd 3ba home 20 minutes from Disney world.

  10. Don't forget before you move into a deed restricted community to read 30 pages of paperwork as far as rules and regulations before you sign on the dotted line it's great to have the pool the pool tables and all the amenities but you pay for that every month that's called HOA. Fees..depending on what community possibly $400 to $600 a month… if you want to paint your house you have to get permission from the board if you want to plant a tree or bushes you have to get permission from the board if you want to change your driveway out permission from the board if you want to put up a privacy fence you can only put up one kind as far as getting a shed that's a big No-No… as far as the prices go as a realtor I can see why you're withholding that… at the end of the video and say nothing…she walks into a sample house with granite countertops stainless steel appliances… if you were to get a new house you would probably get white appliances cheap countertops bottom of the line carpeting… and cabinets but if you want to upgrade by the time you leave a $200,000 house now you're up to $300,000… don't be a hater tell the people the truth… also they're building condos all throughout Florida not too far from this video three bedroom 2 bath $40,000 and 2bedroom 2bath for $30,000…. if you purchase a house in The Villages they go up to a Million dollars… do your research before moving into Paradise do you really want to start working at 60 years old or 65 years old all over again….Plus if you live in the middle of the state no matter what direction you go 2 hours to the beach if you're a beach person like me you don't want to live in the middle of the state… for example I live in Melbourne Beach Florida I'm only a couple minutes away from the beach but 10 minutes away if you go west you can buy a brand new house 3500 square foot or smaller with pool and hot-tube all screen in with a three car garage for $400,000 that's if you love the beach to me what's the point of moving to Florida if you're not near the beach…. I'm close to Orlando Airport Disney World Daytona Beach Miami and I can walk to the beach…. living in the middle of the state is like living in Kansas think before you buy…You're so Welcome…😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

  11. You better have some money or you will retire in a section 8 some people only get a thousand a month but you can live in a subsidised apartment where your rent is based on your income
